Our rental inventory is superior to what many stores offer for sale and we use only top-quality professional strings like Dominant, Helicore, and Jargar. All bows have real horsehair.

2. Professional Staff:

Our staff is professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. A trained violin maker does all repairs in-house so we keep our instruments in top-notch condition for playability, tone and looks.

3. Equity Purchase Plan:

100% of rental payments accrue towards the future purchase of an instrument as long as you continue to rent, unlike other programs which credit only 50-80%, or only your first year at 100%.

4. Flexible Contract:

You may change your instrument size, pause renting, or even stop renting at any time (after the initial 3 month minimum) without penalty.

5. Protection Plan:

Our Instrument Protection Plan is included in the price of every rental. We will maintain your instrument, bow, and case in excellent playing condition. Our Protection Plan includes free string replacement, as well as replacement or repair for more serious damage.

6. Regular & Premium Quality Programs:

We have two plans to fit every budget and musician. Our Standard Rentals are of a higher quality than most basic rentals from other shops. Our upgraded Scholastic Strings Rentals are comprised of intermediate level instruments for serious players looking for the right balance of tone, aesthetics and playability.

7. Purchase from Entire Stock:

Unlike most rent-to-own programs, we do not force you into purchasing the instrument you are currently renting. You may purchase any instrument that we stock with your rental credit. That's right, you can upgrade from a standard rental to a stunning instrument to call your own, and 100% of your rental payment will be applied to the purchase of the instrument you've been dreaming about.

8. Future Equity Guaranteed:

If you want to upgrade an instrument that you purchased using rental credit, 100% of the rental credit portion of your payment counts toward all future trade-ins. That is, your trade-in value will be the rental credit plus any additional you paid to purchase an instrument. Your rental credit retains it's value even after you make a purchase.

9. Inventory of Fine Instruments for Purchase:

Our stock of instruments and bows extends well into the professional range. You can trade-up repeatedly without running out of choices.

10. Nationwide Service:

We ship rental violins and violas nationwide for a small additional charge. You may try it for several days and if you do not like it, simply return the instrument for a full refund.  Sorry, at present we do not ship cellos.
