Once again this summer, Charles Rufino, will offer his acclaimed course Instrument Repair for the String Educator.. Designed for educators with no experience using tools, students learn how to keep instruments healthy with simple techniques that are learned without extensive training and practice. Many participants have reported that the skills they learned helped them not only to secure teaching positions, but also to save a substantial amount of money for their schools. We believe that this course would greatly benefit string teachers and music education students. The course is held at SUNY Stony Brook on Long Island and registration must be done by June 1st.
