The Ivan Dunov Standard Model 401 Violin is a great entry into the affordable, yet finely crafted category of intermediate violins. Old-world craftsmanship and materials come together in our Ivan Dunov instruments. Crafted in a traditional workshop in Romania from superb Carpathian tonewoods, the 401 features a solid spruce top and maple back, ribs, neck and scroll. The 401 is finished with a hand varnished antique-style spirit varnish, as well as ebony pegs, fingerboard and chinrest. These instruments provide excellent sound and playability.
