Pedi violin cases are very light weight yet deliver an outstanding protection for your violin. The shells are made with synthetic polymer with excellent insulation properties. The top shell (lid) is integrated with the proprietary Steel-Shield® construction, which features several bands of steel as a structural reinforcement to withstand a pressure of over 100lbs.
