Bob Spetz Violin

We are excited to have added this work by contemporary maker, Bob Spetz, to our collection. Mr. Spetz made this instrument during his time at The Violin Making School of America, in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he was was one of only six students to have ever graduated with honors. This is some of the earliest work of a violin maker who will be notable in years to come.
The violin is based on a Stradivari pattern and is varnished with spirit/oil-based varnish, which is designed to age nicely and take a gentle patina over time. It is characterized by having a brilliance and fullness of tone.
